Course Description
<p>This course provides an interactive overview of Network Rail Operations and Signalling.<br />
<br />
Sessions will include looking at the history of signalling and an overview of Absolute and Track Circuit Block. Delegates will also learn about Safety Critical Communications, obstructions, trespassing, protection of personnel, signal failures, how operations respond to different types of weather, tabletop exercises and hands on signalling simulator practice.<br />
<br />
The week will culminate in an introduction to operational incident response and scenario-based learning bring together all the elements learnt earlier in the week.</p>
Audience
This course is available for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge of Network Rail Operations, including those from Train Operating Companies.
This course will be particularly beneficial for learners who are currently on the Operations Graduate or Apprentice Scheme.
